Nick Brebner, DVM, DVSc, Dip ACVS

Dr. Brebner  

Dr. Brebner obtained his DVM degree from the University of Montreal in 2000. He completed both a rotating, and a surgical, internship in a private specialty referral center in Montreal before returning to the University of Montreal as a clinical instructor in 2002.

Following his eductation in Montreal, he completed a three year surgical residency at the University of Guelph in 2006, and also received his DVSc degree. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in March 2007.

Dr. Brebner spent two years in San Francisco, California, practicing in one of the largest private veterinary surgical centers in the United States. He returned to Canada and joined MOVEH as a Staff Surgeon in 2008.

Dr. Brebner's clinical interests include cranial cruciate ligament disease, minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy and laparoscopy) and neurosurgery.
