Dr. Bos graduated from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in 1996 followed by a veterinary degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in 2002.

After returning to Canada, she completed a rotating internship at Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) at the University of Guelph and then moved to Florida to complete a surgical internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists near Orlando. Dr. Bos subsequently returned to OVC to complete her residency in small animal surgery.
